To prevent Muslim
women from getting victimized and ensure that the culprit should punish, the All India
Shia Personal Law Board (AISPLB) asked the Uttar Pradesh government to draft a
severe law against triple talaq (divorce), similar to the one anti-sati law.
Shia
board made this comment after AIMPLB adopted a resolution for social boycott on
those who give talaq (divorce) without
'Sharia' (Islamic law) reasons.
