The general secretary of the All India Muslim
Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, said that the
Muslim panel has not made any plans of doing away with the practice of oral triple
talaq (divorce) in one sitting in the next 18 months. He made this comment
based on the statement made by the Vice President of All India Muslim Personal
Law Board (AIMPLB).
