SUPREME COURT BENCH TO HEAR ON TRIPLE TALAQ (DIVORCE) ISSUE

The Supreme Court said that they referred the triple talaq (divorce) issue to the constitution bench. The hearing in the case will begin on May 11 and continues up to May 19 to decide pleas by Muslim women to declare the practice of oral talaq (divorce) illegal.
