HUSBANDS ARE SAYING THAT THEY ARE LIVING IN POVERTY WHEN THEIR WIVES ASK ALIMONY IN MARRIAGE CASES: SUPREME COURT


The Supreme Court said that when the wives ask for alimony during the hearing of pending marriage cases, then the husbands are saying that they are living in poverty and unable to pay the alimony. The Court made this statement while hearing a divorce petition filed by Hyderabad woman against her husband who was working as a doctor. The Court also said that it was not interfere with the Andhra Pradesh High Court interim orders to pay alimony of 15,000 per month for his wife and dismissed the husband’s lawyer arguments on dismissal of High court orders.
