The Telangana State government
announced that a provision has been included under Wakf Act 1995 that calls payment
of maintenance to Muslim women as ordered by the court of competent Jurisdiction,
and said that the divorcee Muslim women who have obtained orders from courts for
maintenance can claim through the Telangana State Wakf board.
