A
family court in the Hyderabad directed a 53-year-old woman petitioner, who had
approached the court for divorce under the Hindu Marriage Act Section 13(1) (ia)
and permanent alimony under Section 25, to pay a ‘court fee’ of Rs. 30,000 as
per the Andhra Pradesh Court Fees And Suits Valuation Act, 1956.
